TAIL LAMP
A tail lamp in 2 parts is a typical mark
of high end vehicles.
It helps integrating the boot lid
in the volume and makes the rear looking less massive.
When we receive the model from the supplier, the designer, a bit too optmistic thinks that just some few local refinements will be enough.
A closer analysis reveals the poor quality of all the surfaces. I convince the designer that it will be faster and cleaner to rebuild everything.
Later, we have a lot of work in repositioning precisely each reflector and changing all the lines. It makes unquestionable that the choice of rebuilding enterely the object was the right one.
