Koleos was an international multi-brand project The initial deal was : style in France by Renault, engineering in Japan by Nissan, manufacturing in Korea by Samsung Motors.
When everything was quite clear, a new requirement was added to the package.
Korean customers enjoy big navigation devices. These features are normally located in the middle of the dashboard, well in view.
Unfortunately, the original design didn't take this in account. And it's not a little detail you can fix by slightly modifying a line... So we entered in the very classical process of modification-alteration-complication that usually leads to coming back to the initial situation.
The designer is busy on another project. He lets me trying... In waiting for this requirement to be cancelled.
